After her ascent to department manager at Neiman Marcus, Allison began her professional sports career; starting out as a season ticket and group sales consultant with the Denver Nuggets and rising to the level of Senior Director, Premium Service for Kroenke Sports. As Senior Director, she was responsible for managing all premium seating assets, directing service and retention efforts, oversight and implementation of all aspects of select ticket holder events and premium guest hospitality for Kroenke Sports’ stable of organizations; Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Pepsi Center and Colorado Mammoth. Additionally Allison oversaw the development and execution of an operational plan for all arena events (NBA Basketball, NHL Hockey, Concerts & Family Shows) for premium seating and luxury suites throughout Pepsi Center. While with Kroenke Sports, Allison earned national recognition amongst her peers for her attention to detail and exemplary creation and execution of VIP hospitality programs for premium patrons.
In 2006 Allison accepted a position with Arzu, a non-profit organization providing sustainable income and access to education and healthcare for women and children in Afghanistan. Her responsibilities included management of events around the country, funding research, and office operations; she helped coordinate the most successful fund raising event to date and to secure a one million dollar grant for the organization. In 2009 she joined Aspen Film where she used her relationship development and event management skills to provide for members and sponsors. This included securing the two largest sponsorships in Aspen Film history and helping to produce a particularly exceptional short film festival in 2011.
In 2011, its inaugural year, Allison joined the USA Pro Challenge as Director of Hospitality and VIP Experiences. Allison developed and managed the VIP hospitality areas at all starts and finishes throughout the week-long international stage race. Already responsible for the hospitality areas and ticketing, she ultimately took on responsibility for intern outreach, accreditation, uniforms and liaison to the overall start city for the opening ceremonies.
As Speaker Logistics and Special Events Manager for the Aspen Institute, Allison showcased her talents and developed new skills. For Aspen Ideas Festival Spotlight Health, she’s managed logistics for 200 international speakers, produced a unique gallery, an opening reception and closing event, provided project management for a Public Theatre Company of New York performance and programmed films. She also managed travel and lodging for 75 world-renowned speakers at the first ever Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit. The Aspen Institute has asked Allison to provide her magic for Spotlight Health in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Allison appreciates the pursuit of excellence. In addition to her love of sports she is a theatre and film enthusiast. A former competitive figure skater, she also enjoys running, time with family and friends, and meeting and learning from people who excel at their crafts – as she does.
